Working as a goldsmith is being in a world of beautiful things all its own. The material is incredible. It sparkles! Every stone is unique and just looking into a stone is looking into a whole world. We get to work with the noble, the natural – every day! Being able to rework an old piece of jewelry into something new in collaboration with a customer is a great honor.
Orjan Molander
Örjan is a master goldsmith. He is skilled at hand engraving and setting stones. Örjan started in the industry in 1984 and has been the owner of Westerlunds Guldsmeder since 1991.
As a goldsmith, you need to have the feeling in your hands. I get the opportunity to use the talents I am good at. I am both technically and aesthetically inclined. But we also work with natural materials, so you can never predict the situation. When everything flows and the materials cooperate and it becomes aesthetically pleasing – then this is the best job in the world! Add to that a satisfied customer, then I can't ask for anything more.

Petra Jordansson
Petra is our newest goldsmith and has been in the business since 2017.
Working with gold is incredible because it is so malleable. Imagine yourself being able to transform a lump into a pair of gorgeous earrings! The work as a goldsmith involves so many different steps to finally reach the goal of a fine piece of jewelry. We melt, saw, file, solder, forge, hammer and polish. Each individual job is unique and requires its own. I never get bored and never fully learn.
